Dear ADSA Members,

We hope that your spring semester is off to a good start! As a reminder, the 2015 ADSA Conference will be held in Chicago, Illinois from August 7–9, 2015 immediately prior to the American Accounting Association Annual Meeting.

We cordially invite you to participate in the 2015 ADSA Conference by presenting your research during one of our student research sessions. We will be accepting research papers in order to follow the format of the sessions of the AAA. Last year, every student received excellent comments and suggestions from discussants, other students, and faculty.

This is an excellent opportunity to practice your presentation skills so we encourage you to plan on having a current working paper or research abstract/proposal ready to present at this year’s conference. First or second year paper requirements, co- or solo-authored working papers, research abstracts, and research proposals are all welcome submissions.

Research Submission Deadlines

There are two deadline dates for research submissions:

  • April 15th – Submit a completed working paper or a research abstract/proposal

  • May 15th –  Deadline for submitting a completed working paper based on the research abstract/proposal submitted on April 15th

Please send all submissions to Dr. Nerissa Brown at

Volunteer Opportunities

If you would like to serve as a discussant, we are currently accepting those requests. Please indicate your preferred research topic(s) and methodologies so that we can properly match you with papers that complement your interests and send to Porschia Nkansa at

We look forward to receiving your submissions and seeing you in Chicago!
