Call for papers

The Finance Doctoral Student Association (FDSA) welcomes participants and Faculty Alumni to the Annual Conference to be held in Whistler, B.C., Canada, June 25th - June 28th. We are now accepting abstract and paper submissions.  This year, there will be three levels of presentation:

  1. Abstract presentations and paper development:  students will briefly present research ideas. Faculty presenters will critique the ideas, and provide suggestions about paper development and research design
  2. Full paper presentations.  Completed student research, 20 minute presentation, 10 minutes for questions and discussion.  You can submit an abstract or rough draft for consideration, but a full written paper is expected by June 15th
  3. Faculty presentations.  Completed research, 20 minute presentation, followed by a discussant presentation, and then time for questions and discussion.

We encourage researchers to submit their papers or abstracts and join us at the conference in Whistler.  This is your opportunity to get feedback on dissertation chapters or other research ideas.

Submission of papers and abstracts in all areas of Finance and Economics are welcome.   Please forward this form and required documents to Anjelita.Cadena@unt.edu.

Paper and abstract submission deadline: April 30th. Notification of acceptance for papers and abstracts will be sent by May 15th.
