The PhD Project Finance Doctoral Students Association, created on October 15, 1997 in Honolulu, HI as a System of Support and a National Network for African-Americans, Hispanic-Americans, and Native Americans in the process of pursuing Doctoral Degrees in Finance at Universities in the United States of America.
Members of the Association voluntarily assume a Responsibility to offer Moral support and Encouragement to African-American, Hispanic-American, and Native American Finance Doctoral Students as they pursue their degrees and take their place in the teaching and research profession, and further, to serve as Mentors to new Doctoral Students as they enter the Association, to act as Mentors to their students upon attainment of teaching position, and to maintain the highest standards of Scholarship in their profession.

How is everyone? Getting ready for a richly deserved decompresssion during Spring Break next week. I've really have been MIA w/ the nose to the grindstone.... w/ teaching, research & directing the school's investment portfolio...however, I've def. missed the fellowship I enjoyed from the finance DSA.
I'm looking forward to getting re-involved in all things Phd Project & I'll definitely be at the Western Fin Assoc this year.
